I created an abstract landscape painting that represents shapes and patterns of fossilized sea shells and sea creatures.

I was inspired to create the painting by tropical colors of the ocean and shelling on Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island, located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. Many secluded and even not-so-secluded shorelines are covered in shells and different shapes and colors of stones and fossilized corals. Original and modern feel and really nice texture.
