Contemporary painting with flowing textured abstract brushstrokes and heavy texture in shades of brown, beige, gray, silver, white, cream, gold, and bronze neutral colors.I created an abstract landscape painting that representing shapes the patterns of fossilized sea shells with colorful geological layers and amazing stone formations.I was inspired to create the painting by shelling on Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island, located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. Many secluded and even not-so-secluded shorelines are covered in shells and different shapes and colors of stones and fossilized corals.Working with color, line and texture, I painted a singular interpretation of my connection with nature. Original and modern feel and a really nice texture.
