My inspiration for this artwork originated from my experiences of collecting shells along the beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island, situated on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. These shorelines, whether secluded or more accessible, are adorned with a rich variety of shells, stones, and fossilized corals, displaying a diverse range of shapes and colors.
 
The artwork possesses an original and contemporary feel, while its texture adds an appealing tactile quality to the overall composition.
